Smile Again is a free, one day dental event organized by the Desoto County Dream Center and Advanced Dental Implant and TMJ Center for the under-served people living in the North Mississippi area, many of whom are from working families who do not have access to dental work or cannot afford dental insurance. All services are provided free of charge by licensed dentists from North Mississippi and assisted by a host of volunteers.

Last year we were able to treat 65 patients and provide over $40,000 in free dental care!

Our goal this year is to treat approximately 100 patients and provide $50,000 in free dental care services! This one-day event will utilize approximately 60 volunteers, both dental and non-dental, to make this event happen. On the day of the event, the clinic will open at 8 AM and continue treating patients until we reach our capacity for the day. Treatment offered will include minor restorative fillings, extractions, and cleanings. Additionally, we will connect patients to the agencies that are available for further treatment in our community – such as Church Health Center (CHC), Christ Community Clinic – and educate them on the importance of good oral health.
