Your Hosts

Dr. Pradeep Adatrow, DDS, MSD

Dr. Adatrow is a Board Certified Periodontist and Prosthodontist. He was a full-time Professor and Director at the University of Tennessee for 14 years prior to establishing his practice in Southaven, MS.

Dr. Jay Patel, DDS MSD

Dr. Patel completed his dental education at the University of Southern California, Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry and obtained his Doctor of Dental surgery. He completed his Certification and his residency in Periodontics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He is eligible for board certification.

Dr. Andrew Abide Jr., DMD

Dr. Abide attended dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He founded Abide Endodontics in 2013 with the commitment of providing the most advanced endodontic treatment possible with minimal patient discomfort.

Dr. David Abide, DDS

Dr. Abide attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and received the latest advanced training in microsurgical and nonsurgical root canal therapy, performed research in 3-dimensional imaging, and earned an endodontic certificate and Masters of Science in Dentistry. He joined his brother at Abide Endodontics in 2016.

Dr. Nathan R. Hamman, DDS, MDS

Dr. Hamman received his DDS, Master’s degree and orthodontic at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He also travels to Tucson, AZ annually to teach domestic and international residents and orthodontists the art of wire bending, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Dr. Hamman and Dr. Williams have been creating smiles in Desoto County since 1985 at Williams & Hamman Orthodontics.

NANCY WILLIAMS, DDS

Dr. Nancy Williams is currently Professor Emeritus following her retirement from the UTHSC College of Dentistry. Dr. Williams taught in Dental Hygiene at UTHSC where she became Professor and Graduate Director. She is also a certified nicotine interventionist having completed courses at Indiana University, Mayo Clinic, and University of Mississippi.Dr. Williams has presented and published on many aspects of alcoholism and addiction including an overview of drugs of abuse and how this disease affects both oral health care providers and patients.

SAM BAKURI, DDS

Dr. Sam Bakuri is a board certified Periodontist and Dental implant surgeon, he obtained his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Master of science in dentistry along with a periodontics residency certificate from Virginia Commonwealth University. With over 20 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Bakuri is the owner of Pittsburg Dental Implants & Periodontics. Dr. Bakuri is also an ITI fellow and the chairman of of the marketing committee for the International Association of Dental Specialists. Additionally, Dr. Bakuri letures on various subjects, including ceramic implants, pro arch dental implants, digital dentistry, and soft tissue grafting.
